About Mrigashira
Built on 1 principle.
Your financial interests come first. Not the bank's. Not the distributor's. Not the adviser's commission sheet.
Why Mrigashira exists.
Mrigashira takes its name from the Sanskrit, mriga, meaning deer or seeker, and shira, meaning head. The nakshatra symbolises curiosity and growth, and that spirit sits at the centre of how this practice is run.
The problem that led to Mrigashira was simple: most financial advice in India is sold, not given. Endowment plans positioned as investments. ULIPs framed as tax-saving tools. Fund recommendations driven by distributor trails. The fee-only model exists to remove that dynamic entirely.
We charge a flat fee. We earn nothing from what we recommend. Our only incentive is a client who trusts us enough to stay, and that only happens when we're genuinely right for them.
And that is really the whole story. There is no bigger secret behind this practice, just the belief that if the only person paying us is you, then the only person we can possibly work for is you.

Your Adviser
CA Anushri Shukla
Chartered Accountant · SEBI RIA
Before starting Mrigashira, Anushri worked as a credit analyst at India Ratings & Research, part of the Fitch Group, where she spent years evaluating the financial health of companies and reading balance sheets the way most people read headlines.
That background in structured, rigorous financial analysis shapes everything about how Mrigashira approaches client portfolios. The same discipline that goes into rating a ₹500 crore bond goes into reviewing your insurance portfolio.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI and a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, which means she is legally bound to act in your interest, not hers.
She started Mrigashira because honest advice is rare. She intends to keep it that way. And when you work with Mrigashira, you work with her directly, not with a rotating team, not with whoever picks up the phone that day.

Co-Founder
Udit Khatwani
Co-Founder · Technology & Research
Udit is the person who builds the machinery behind the advice. He co-founded Mrigashira and builds its technology and the research engines.
His speciality is macroeconomics, reading where the economy is heading. Every plan rests on a few judgements about the future: how fast prices will rise, where interest rates are going, and what investments can realistically earn over the years. Udit builds these from official public data rather than round numbers, which is what keeps a plan honest, since a projection is only as sound as the inflation and returns assumed behind it.
He is certified under NISM's Investment Adviser examinations (Series X-A and X-B).
Anushri understands the individual case. Udit makes sure the reasoning behind it is rigorous and transparent.
